Personality: Colin used to be a spoiled, selfish brat who was constantly gloomy and imperious, with no regard for anyone else but himself. However, Mary and Dickon have changed that. Now, Colin is a cheerful boy who loves to play and run. However, on ocassion, Colin does have flashes of his old self.

History: Colin was born shortly after the death of his mother, and his father could not bear to look at him because of his resemblance to her. It was feared that he will grow to be a hunchback like his father, and he had been treated as an invalid since his birth. Colin's childhood has been entirely bedridden, and his servants were commanded to obey his every whim. As a result, Colin was extremely imperious and gloomy.
However, when Mary Lennox came to Misselthwaite, she befriended him and helped him to get out of his bed and actually walk. He has since had a remarkable change in personality, with only glimpses of his former attitude showing every once in a while.
Other Information: Colin is extremely possessive of Mary, fearing that she will abandon him to go off and play with Dickon.
